Welcome to the 2026 Dos Rios Men’s League (DRM)L. 16 teams this year. Week 1 format and rosters below.
I’m Chad (Commish). Trevor Smith is my assistant, but if you ask him for details, he probably won’t know the answer. Better to ask MJ, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of DRML and the reason I still do this. Don’t piss her off.
The important stuff:
- Don’t reply to all.
- Don’t piss in view of other humans. If you don’t think you are in view, guess again. They ARE there… waiting, watching, with the Sheriff on speed dial. Best bet: Bathrooms and Port-o-Pisser. Refer to “For the love of green grass” email from last season.
- Fix your divots. Fix your ball marks. Play fast. Tip often.
- 5:15 shotgun every week. Be at your tee box at 5:10. Late teams lose one hole every 10 minutes starting at 5:20.
- Captains- text me points earned by Friday morning. 970-275-2417. New this year: you can also submit through the app at drml.netlify.app (Beta). Text me for your team code. Until I’m confident the app works, please text scores too.
- Skins available all-day Thursday. $10/person per nine, front and back, 50/50 gross/net. Sign up in the pro shop. Scores in by 7:45 PM or you’re DNF.
- Sign up for dinner in the restaurant before heading out.
- Players must have an active USGA GHIN to use a handicap. No GHIN = play scratch. Download the free USGA app — it has your 9-hole course handicap by tee.
- Subs allowed all regular season. Rosters go hard for playoffs. Email me to document any additions.
- Playoffs: 4-week, 16-team single elimination bracket. Dates TBD. Seeded by regular season points. Winner raises the Tarnished Cup (it holds beverages) and takes the cash. Example below.
Saturday’s may be for the boys, but Thursdays are for the gents. Banter encouraged. Don’t be a prick. Don’t reply all.

2026 Dos Rios Men’s League App (Beta):
New this year: we have a custom league app built just for Dos Rios Men’s League. This is a Beta version, meaning it is new, it works, and we will be improving it as the season goes on.
Here is what you can see right now:

How to access it:
Add it to your home screen on your phone for easy access all summer:
- iPhone: Open in Safari → tap the Share button → “Add to Home Screen”
- Android: Open in Chrome → tap the three dots → “Add to Home Screen”
Once added, it launches like a regular app with the Dos Rios logo right on your home screen.
Scores will be posted each week so everyone can track standings in real time.
